We have Two Exciting Options for our Incoming 9th Graders!
Option One: Join PreDrill for your Freshman year
Join us in PreDrill to work on advanced technique in preparation for Belle tryouts. In this preparatory course, dancers will perform at pregame of 1-2 varsity football games and our annual Fall Dance Concert, in addition to working on high kick and advanced technique needed for Belles tryouts. In addition to a class period during the school day, PreDrill students will practice 2-3 days a week before school in the Fall to help prepare for upcoming performances. Tryouts for the 2024-2025 Trojan Belles Dance Team will take place during the week of November 27th-30th.
Option Two: Audition to Join the Trojan Belles for your Freshman year
In effort to raise numbers following virtual learning, this year we are allowing incoming 9th graders to audition for the 2024-2025 Trojan Belles Dance Team during the week of November 27th-30th. Students that opt to audition as 8th graders should have a mastery of advanced dance technique as listed below. Dancers that are not selected to be part of the team should not be discouraged and should plan to join PreDrill to follow the traditional Trojan Belles track at Anderson High School. There is a mandatory meeting for both parents and dancers on November 8th at 6PM in the AHS Cafeteria for those interested in auditioning.
Tryout Week Times:
Monday 4:30-7:30PM, Wednesday 4:30-7:30PM, Thursday 5-8PM *End time is tentative!

In accordance with AISD policy, a student transferring from another school to or within AISD who has been in good standing with the former team as a member may have the opportunity to audition for the next year’s team at the time of the transfer. Transfer students who have not previously been a member of a dance team must wait until regularly scheduled team member auditions.
